SNAPWV -- Spay Neuter Assistance Program of West Virginia, Inc., is a corporation founded by the Federation of Human Organizations in West Virginia.  Their mission is to promote the practice and philosophy of spaying and neutering pets in our communities in order to increase the quality of life for animals and citizens throughout the state of West Virginia. 

SNAPWV is working to obtain ongoing funding for the State of West Virginia so it can continue to offer matching grants and individual subsidies to pet owners eligible to spay and neuter their pets throughout West Virginia. 

They tried to secure passage of Senate Bill 225 in the last legislative session and failed but will reintroduce it in the upcoming state legislature session.  The bill would provide ongoing funding for spay/neuter programs all over West Virginia.
